Painful Acne Scar Removal: How to Avoid it
Acne is painful and socially un-desirable. So many people go through the motions of getting new pimples, popping them, and then dwelling over the scarring. Of course there is a huge market for treating those scars, as there are so many people with them.
Have you heard about what treatments are out there? There's dermabrasion, microdermabrasion, laser treatments and chemical peels. Sure you know about them, and their exuberant costs, but have you heard how extremely painful these treatments can be?
To start with lets talk about dermabrasion. It is as if you were to rub sandpaper on your face. The dermatologist will numb your face first and then begin removing layers through the "sanding" process. A metal brush or diamond surfaced spinning blade scrapes away the top layer of skin, removing acne scars along with the skin. Your skin will eventually scab. Sure your face is numb during the process, but that anesthetic wears off after a couple of hours. Incredible pain then follows, as it is as if your face was dragged across asphalt for miles.
Second, we have laser treatment. In this treatment, your facial skin is burned off with a laser. Plus, it is a fairly new procedure and it should be noted that not a lot of trials have been done on its long term effects. Depending on the depth of acne scarring, bandages are necessary for several weeks.
Next on the pain factor is chemical peel. Acid is used to burn off the top layer of skin on your face. ACID. Redness and swelling is common after the procedure. Recovery time takes weeks. The acid causes stinging, redness, irritation and dryness. In addition you may have to go through it several times as it can take multiple treatments for desired results. Remember, acid is dangerous.
Lastly we have the punch method. It is like taking a hole puncher to your face and punching out all of the scars. A cookie cutter-like tool is used to cut out individual scars, scooping them out of your face like ice cream. The procedure itself may leave a slight scar. Then the hole in your face can be filled with fat from another part of your body. After this treatment is complete, you might want to have your face burned with a laser or sand papered with dermabrasion, because the unevenness of the newly filled holes is ugly. Combing the treatments is popular. Recovery time takes several weeks longer than the other methods.
How to Avoid these Painful Procedures
And so, acne scar removal treatments can be more painful than actually living with the acne scars. A much more sensible and painless solution would be a strong acne treatment cream with a scar healing solution already in it. This is much more logical.
No Pain Acne Scars Treatment
There is a substance out there that is a great treatment for scars healing. It contains the serum of a little creature that heals its own skin on a daily basis. The tiny snail which basks in the sun all day, produces its very own skin healing serum. When collected and used in acne scars treatment great results have been recorded. A wonderful product for acne scars treatment, BioSkinForte is an all natural cream with regenerative enzymes that help to rebuild the skin, in turn erasing scars caused by acne.
